Mission

Close the gap between great technology and commercial success.

Vision

To see the best technologies win.

The name

Fortuny combines Fortune and Future — prosperity and innovation. That's the intersection we work in.

Why we're different

  • We don't advise from the outside. We operate from the inside.
  • Regulated, complex industries are where we do our best work.
  • Honest feedback over comfortable advice. Every time.
Our team

Senior. Hands-on. Accountable.

Katerina Klezlova

Katerina Klezlova

Founding Partner

Katerina helps technology companies turn complexity into commercial success. She is a venture builder, board advisor, and strategic operator working across MedTech, DeepTech, and SustainabilityTech, with a strong focus on regulated industries and growth-stage companies. Over the past decade she has built her own ventures and advised hundreds of founders on commercialization strategy, market entry, fundraising readiness, and investor due diligence.

Through Fortuny Consulting, she works hands-on with startups and scaleups across Europe — often stepping in as external co-founder, interim COO, or strategic capital advisor. She has reviewed hundreds of investor decks, supported leadership teams through fundraising processes, and helped companies position themselves credibly for institutional investors.

Alongside her advisory work, Katerina serves as a Non-Executive Director, startup jury member, speaker, mentor, and coach for accelerators and incubators across Europe.

Current focus: board and advisory roles in growth-stage tech, external co-founder and strategic operator partnerships, fundraising, commercialization, and leadership strategy.

Luc Richner

Partner

Luc is a serial entrepreneur at the intersection of compliance technology, RegTech, and supply chain transparency. He is the founder of Cannavigia and Vigia.ai, building ventures where data, compliance, and global trade converge. Over the course of his career, he has developed a rare instinct for spotting where regulation creates opportunity rather than obstacle, and for building the companies that sit exactly at that intersection.

As an active investor, Luc backs founders who are passionate, determined, and genuinely hard to replicate. He invests in companies with a bold vision, scalable technology, and a product that clearly resonates with the people it is built for. He is drawn to founders who know exactly who they are solving for and have the conviction to stay the course when it gets hard. His investment portfolio spans deep tech, RegTech, supply chain technology and logistics, and art tech, reflecting a deliberate curiosity across industries rather than a narrow sector thesis. As a senior advisor, he brings the same lens to the founders and leadership teams he works with: practical, unsentimental, and focused on what it actually takes to scale in industries where the rules are part of the product.

Beyond tech, Luc moves fluidly between the entrepreneurship world and the art world, including Art Basel. He is a connector in the truest sense. Someone who understands that a network is not measured in size but in precision. One warm, strategic introduction at the right moment is worth more than hundreds of connections. Knowing who should meet whom, and when, is what makes him a trusted bridge between ecosystems that rarely overlap.

Current focus: compliance and RegTech ventures, cross-sector advisory, investor introductions, and ecosystem building across Europe and South East Asia.
